The story so far

Inspired by the achievements of the British cycling teams at the Olympics and Paralympics, seven lawyers (unfit, unprepared and underdogs) from Burges Salmon will leave our Bristol office on 25 September and cycle south hoping to arrive in Paris the following Sunday.
We will need to ride an average of 80 miles a day to reach the French capital and only one of us has ever ridded more than 50 before. A tough challenge!
The aim is to support The Jessie May trust, Burges Salmon's nominated charity for 2008 and have set ourselves the ambitious target of raising £20,000. The Jessie May Trust provides nursing care at home for children with a terminal illness and is an extremely worthwhile cause.
While our motley crew of less than athletic lawyers are going to dig deep physically and mental mentally we hope that you will be able to support us by sponsoring the endeavour.
